“The Wallowas” Happy Variscite Necklace

I knew when I saw this beautiful Happy Variscite stone it would be in a nature inspired piece.  I visited the Wallowas years ago a few times and the beauty of the mountains and lake was breathtaking. The stone represents Wallowa Lake and is bezel set in fine silver wire.  I added a snowy mountainscape to represent The Wallowa mountains that look out at the lake.  The backside has my makers mark and sterling. The pendant measures just shy of 1-3/4" diameter and hangs on a 18" chain that closes with my signature hook and eye clasp. I gave this special piece a dark patina to highlight the dramatic colors of the stone.  All handcrafted by me with love from Oregon.
