A natural Royston Turquoise with a pretty bright green ribbon winding through it. I love Royston because it’s all so earthy and organic. Bezel set in fine silver onto an etched backplate. Backside has my makers mark and sterling. Pendant hangs 1-3/4” from top of the rings x just shy of 1” at widest point. Chain is 18” sterling silver (including my hand formed clasp) All silver was given a dark patina and polished back to show details
Originally discovered in the 1970's by a herder who stumbled upon a vein of turquoise on the hillside, Royston Ribbon Turquoise is from the Boulder turquoise mine in northeast Nevada.
Production of this unique type of turquoise has been small because of how remote the mine is. This makes Royston Ribbon Turquoise valuable for both its beauty and rarity.
