Orion Variscite Necklace

I’ve always loved gazing at the constellations and Orion is my favorite.  So it’s fitting that the backside of the setting on this Orion Variscite stone have the Orion the Hunter Constellation.  I stamped out the constellation and drew from point to point based on a photo.  Scribed in my makers mark and 925 for sterling. Setting is highly textured using my silversmith tools and measures 2-1/2” long from top of bail the chain threads through x by 1-1/8” at widest point.  Sterling Silver chain is 18” including my hand forged hook and eye clasp. All silver was given a dark patina and polished back to highlight details.  Hand crafted with love in my Oregon studio.
