This gorgeous Turquoise from Kingman Hardy Pit is one of the prettiest stones I've seen. That color that's kind of an aqua blue, just pops! The black veins just add to the drama in this stone. Set in castellated bezel onto a sterling silver backplate that has been slightly textured and given a patina and polished back to show details. The pendant hangs 2-1/8" from the top ring. Will come to you on an 18" sterling silver chain that closes with my signature hook and eye clasp. The backside is stamped with my makers mark and sterling. Handcrafted by me with love in my Oregon studio.
NOTE: The Kingman Turquoise Mine in Arizona has produced the largest quantity of turquoise stones in recorded history. The sheer amount and quality of Kingman jewelry's blue coloration have made its stones one of the most fashionable styles of jewelry worn in America. The mine was first discovered by James Haas in the late 1800s. However, the mine was relatively unheard of until Leonard W. Hardy launched a successful marketing campaign from 1950 to the 1970.
